NETMAIL(1) UNIX Programmer's Manual NETMAIL(1) NAME netmail - read mail on a remote machine over the network SYNOPSIS netmail [ -l login ] [ -p password ] [ -n ] [ -f ] [ machine ] DESCRIPTION The mail for the specified user is read on the specified _m_a_c_h_i_n_e. If the machine specification is omitted, the default machine is used. The remote login name is indicated by the -l and -p options (or will be prompted for on the terminal). A password is required. -f and -n behave exactly as in _n_e_t(1). The mail will be delivered in the file ``mbox._m_a_c_h_i_n_e'' in the user's login directory. _N_e_t_m_a_i_l executes the _n_e_t(1) command.
