LENSTR(3F) UNIX Programmer's Manual LENSTR(3F) NAME lenstr - Fortran function for finding string length SYNTAX lenstr(string) character*m string DESCRIPTION _L_e_n_s_t_r is an integer*2 function that determines the actual number of characters in a character variable including imbedded blanks but omitting trailing blanks. If a null byte '\0' occurs in the string, the length is the number of char- acters before the null byte.
