.\" Print this document using "seqn file | sroff -ms". .rs .sp 2 .ft B .ce Seqn: Differences from Eqn .ft P .sp 2 .PP \fISeqn\fP is a modification of eqn that uses the Greek and Scientific fonts of the Sanders printer to generate as many of the normal equation symbols as possible. \fISeqn\fP is essentially similar to \fIeqn\fP except for the symbols available. One quirk about \fIseqn\fP (and \fIeqn\fR) is that all unrecognized words are set in the italic font. This is normal, unless you are using a set of fonts with no italic font and font I is therefore underlined. If this is the case, you can override the font default with: .in 0.5i .nf .ft B \&.EQ gfont R \&.EN .in .fi .ft R in the file, which sets the global font to \fBR\fP, or the command-line option \fB-fR\fP to \fIseqn\fP. One other difference from \fIeqn\fP is that the default .EQ delim off .EN delimiters for in-line equations are dollar signs (as if \fBdelim $$\fP had been used). This can be turned off using \fBdelim off\fP between .EQ and .EN.
