This is the value of the UNIX system clock. _C_t_i_m_e converts a system time to a 24 character ASCII string. The for‐ mat is described under _c_t_i_m_e(3). No ’newline’ or NULL will be included. _L_t_i_m_e and _g_m_t_i_m_e disect a UNIX time into month, day, etc., either for the local time zone or as GMT.
