NAME
       intro - introduction to system maintenance and operation commands

DESCRIPTION
       This section contains information related to system operation and main‐
       tenance.  It describes commands used to create new file systems, _n_e_w_f_s,
       verify  the  integrity  of  the file systems, _f_s_c_k, control disk usage,
       _e_d_q_u_o_t_a, maintain system backups, _d_u_m_p, and recover  files  when  disks
       die an untimely death, _r_e_s_t_o_r_e.  The section _f_o_r_m_a_t should be consulted
       when formatting disk packs.  Network related services are distinguished
       as  8C.   The section _c_r_a_s_h should be consulted in understanding how to
       interpret system crash dumps.
