STRSTR(3) UNIX Programmer's Manual STRSTR(3) NAME strstr - locate a substring in a string SYNOPSIS #include char * strstr(big, little) _c_h_a_r *_b_i_g, *_l_i_t_t_l_e; DESCRIPTION The strstr() function locates the first occurrence of the null-terminated string _l_i_t_t_l_e in the null-terminated string _b_i_g. If _l_i_t_t_l_e is the empty string, strstr() returns _b_i_g; if _l_i_t_t_l_e occurs nowhere in _b_i_g, strstr() returns NULL; oth- erwise strstr() returns a pointer to the first character of the first occurrence of _l_i_t_t_l_e.
