NAME
     la - print 1, 5 and 15 minute system load averages

SYNOPSIS
     la

DESCRIPTION
     _l_a prints the one, five and fifteen minute system load aver-
     ages.  These averages represent the average number of runn-
     able jobs for the indicated time period.
